Our custom itineraries incorporate overnight accommodations chosen to suit your taste and budget while putting your party in prime position for game viewing. The lodges and camps listed is a small selection of the many options that can be incorporated into the ideal itinerary.

Arumeru River Lodge, one of the finest Lodges in Arusha with views over looking Mt. Kilimanjaro, was constructed on the site of a former coffee farm and is situated only 700 meters south off the main Arusha-Moshi Road. The lodge consists of 20 comfortable and spacious chalets spread out over 12 acres of beautifully furbished gardens and natural bush land, bordering on the Arumeru River lined with large old trees. The main building contains the resort facilities, a comfortable lounge and the bar, reception area equipped with telephone and fax services, internet service, a fashion boutique and souvenir shop, as well as the restaurant. The terrace restaurant with magnificent views of the mountains Meru and Kilimanjaro overlooks the tropical gardens and a large solar-heated swimming pool. The restaurant offers exquisite international as well as African cuisine at all meals.

Lemala Mara River Camp offers luxurious accommodations in a wonderful location near the wildebeest migration. The camp is “semi-permanent”, meaning it is actually taken down and moved to a different location at certain times of the year to follow the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. Through June, July and August the wildebeest continues moving through the area, crossing the Mara River and then heading north towards Masai Mara, but several herds remain behind and weather changes could easily bring the vast herds flooding back into the area. Migration and predator action lasts up to end October assuring this area’s reputation as one of the finest in Africa.

The camp is small and private with 8 spacious and stylishly decorated tents, each with a verandah. There is an additional family tent which can accommodate 4 to 5 guests. Each tent has either 2 large single beds or a king-size double bed and a private bathroom that contains a dressing area, ensuite toilet, shower and basin with running water. The mess has a cozy sitting room with large comfy sofas and a dining room. Because the camp is a mobile one, guests will not find swimming pools, manicured gardens or underground plumbing that you would find at other permanent camps. Despite this, no expense of luxury has been spared as guests will find chandeliers glimmering over the dining room table and four-course gourmet meals served on china. Lemala Mara is the perfect place to rest after an exhilarating day on safari. The small size of the camp gives it a cozy feel and strangers quickly become friends sharing stories around the campfire. The dining tent consists of a big timber dining table where gourmet meals are served by candlelight. The dining tent shares a roof with the lounge and sitting area, which is furnished with large overstuffed couch cushions and a coffee table where guests can enjoy a relaxing cocktail from the fully stocked liqueur cabinet. Meals are served in the mess tent or al Fresco when weather permits. Dinner consists of four delicious gourmet courses with the main course being a choice of either chicken, beef, lamb or pasta. Complimentary house beverages with dinner including soft drinks, beer and house wine (premium drinks are extra cost).
